Ejvind A. Johansson built upon pioneering Danish designer Børge Mogensen's ambition to furnish the homes of his fellow countrymen with functional modernism. Johansson’s 1957 series including J63 Stool echoes a similar simplicity, with its pleasingly curved seat and simple, supportive frame. Now timeless, the seating is made from solid ash with a plywood seat in a black finish for a graphic punch.
