Made for the Architectural Biennale of Venice, designer Kari Virtaneon’s stool-table references organic Finnish style with its seemingly naturally hewn surface and demonstrably impressive proportions. Biennale is fashioned of solid oak and its carefully crafted cracks, wormholes, unevenness and knots make each piece unique—a one-of-a-kind work of art.
