With Turning Table, German designer Theresa Rand puts her spin on the classic modernist's dilemma: how to keep creature comforts near at hand while hewing to an uncluttered ideal. Her low table conceals a storage space within its round contours for whatever you want at hand, from magazines and books to remote controls and portable electronics to games and toys. The table's surface swivels open by rotating on one of the legs, revealing the handy enclosure below. Ideal as an occasional table in the living room or near the bed. Available in a choice of natural oak or black-stained ash with brass or black chrome fittings.
