Hans J. Wegner's visionary and playful work in the 1960s takes form in this round dining table that saw the designer experimenting with a mix of different materials to a degree previously unseen. With CH388’s round tabletop in solid oak in a choice of finishes, he juxtaposed legs that anchor the design with the frisson of industrial yet elegant stainless steel. The table offers a pair of useful options, with a single-piece tabletop or a split version that opens in the middle to accommodate 2 additional insert leaves for easily expanding the surface.
