Kaare Klint studied several benchmark English designs before unveiling his own modernist take on seating in 1927 with the large Red Chair, specifically warranted for the new Danish Art Museum’s lecture hall. He added 2 smaller sizes for use at a dining table to the series, finely crafted in solid wood with leather upholstery.
