Berlin Cityscape Architectural Model

From the Baroque to the Bauhaus, Berlin's architectural heritage makes the city an unrivaled destination. With its many trees lining the streets, Tiergarten Park is an oasis of green lying just west of the Brandenburg Gate along the river Spree. Chisel & Mouse provides a bird's-eye view in its artfully hand-cast, 3-D model in a resin plaster. Enclosed in a perspex box, it can hang on a wall or sit on a table top.

Brit brothers Robert and Gavin Paisley painstakingly reproduce select cities and stand-alone buildings in resin plaster (free of toxic solvents) of a reassuring weight and cool smoothness, with fine details including window frames etched in metal. In their Sussex studio, the "Chisel" refers to traditional plaster-cast methods and the "Mouse" to the computer-aided design (CAD) technology and 3-D printing used to achieve the sculptural models.
