Islets Coffee Table

Danish designer Maria Bruun favors pieces with a strong, assertive presence, as in her sculptural coffee table that nonetheless touches down easily in a room. Islets hews to a precise structure with a graceful bevelled tabletop and column legs fashioned in solid light oak with a rich oiled finish. With details kept to a minimum, the designer prefers to focus on the spacial relationship of her work to its surroundings.
