Somewhat ironically, Børge Mogensen's dining chair with its Danish accent on comfortable functionality, durability and forthright style was suggested by a tradition from another culture. The Spanish Chair nods to that country's customary way of making furniture with its sturdy saddle leather seat and solid oak construction. Mogensen's enduring 1964 design comes in both side and armchair versions in a range of finishes that underscore his penchant for the tranquility of simple lines and natural materials.
