Visionary Midcentury husband-and-wife designers Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen found inspiration in Asian architecture for Pagode Sofa, created in 1956 and reissued for Menu's Icons. Featuring precise V-shaped legs in oiled oak or walnut and a low seat with gently inclined armrests, it has a high back to cradle and support the body. Avantgarde for its time, the seating is expressive and unique in its simplicity yet highly detailed in its construction, drawing on consummate craftsmanship.
