Peripatetic American designer Jonah Takagi’s dining table features a breathtaking oval expanse of marble resting on twin cone-shaped bases. Fashioned in laser-cut metal with an inset wood column, they provide a striking contrast to each uniquely veined length of white, black or deep green stone. It wasn’t the designer’s musician past but rather the 3 supporting materials that give the table its melodic name—metal (ME), wood (WO) and marble (MA).
