Mask Stool

Danish architect Eva Harlou pioneers a novel take on sustainability with Mater’s stool that incorporates low-value waste from local beer production.  The spent grain—“mask” in Danish—and other fiber-based detritus are mixed with post-industrial plastic waste in a unique compound used for press-molding the seat. Mask further illustrates inspired design with its adjustable height and trim tubular frame in a gun-metal finish.
