Ponder this String theory. Menu's WM String Lounge Chair with its thin lattice frame makes for light and airy seating in both a literal and figurative sense. With the powder-coated steel tubing frame, Rotterdam-based Studio WM designed a wire seat and an oversized trapezoid-shaped wire back that's wider at the bottom. The series' companion dining chair, however, upends the design with the wider back edge at the top. Each version comfortably accommodates the posture dictates of its purpose—semi-reclined relaxing versus sitting upright at table. It's an intriguing framework for consideration.
