Though it thrills the inner child, Serious Swing is definitely sized for grownups. In playful bright yellow, Weltevree's towering aluminum structure stands nearly 10 feet-tall—with optional garden lights to illuminate the ground below—and its double wooden seats each hold 220 pounds. Not just for the park or plaza, it can also be placed indoors, perhaps in a large office setting to offer space for a casual meeting. As designer Thor her Kulve puts it, “A swing is the ultimate way of experiencing freedom.”
